What is a Sales Tax ID Certificate/Resellers License Number/Reseller Certificate?
A Sales Tax ID or Resellers Certificate allows you as a business owner to buy goods usually at wholesale prices without paying tax. When you re-sell the goods then It is your responsibility to collect applicable taxes from your customers.  The tax laws are changing for ecommerce, but currently, most states only require you to collect taxes from customers who reside in the state your business is registered in. Who Needs a Reseller Certificate?
