Win and I were recently in Bermuda and came across the local Gosling rum. This was intriguing to me as Gosling was my maiden name. It initiated a journey through my mind of my childhood days and the possible connections with this Bermudian family. My father had traced our family heritage back to William the Conqueror and had spent many an interesting hour regaling me of his research.

The night following my discovery of the Bermudian Gosling line I awoke in the early hours and was aware of a presence in the room. It felt like the energy of my father who had passed into spirit four years previously. It was a comforting presence and I happily went back to sleep knowing he was there. The following night I was woken again and once more felt his spirit. On the third night I started to develop a sore throat. I often travel with sachets of Vitamin C to support my body during climate changes, but had forgotten to pack them. So, I placed my hands either side of my throat and asked my guides to send healing through my hands. I fell asleep and this time dreamt of my father. He was saying how much better he felt after taking a tablet. I immediately awoke from my slumber and knew that he was telling me to take something that would reduce the swelling in my throat. It worked and I felt well rested and pain free in the morning.

I offer you this story for a few different reasons. Despite my ability I have had very little contact from my father since his death. My mother on the other hand contacted me shortly after her passing, as did my brother. I have felt my father and occasionally seen him during my meditations, but not to this degree. When we pass into spirit there is often a time of convalescence, but I believe that my focus on the Gosling name and the memories it invoked called him to me.

There are no coincidences. I rarely forget to pack Vitamin C for my trip, but this one seeming mistake gave my father an “in” to communicate with me in my dreams in a meaningful and helpful way. I know now that the way to contact him is through the memories we had together, plus of course calling him by his name. His presence was so strong that I felt it had an additional message. We do not need to be mediums to communicate with loved ones in spirit. We just have to have love in our hearts, shared memories, and a name to call. My father began his communication by letting me know on a subtle level that he was there, working his way up into my dreams.

Be aware of your loved ones’ communications with you. Their energy is subtle and can often be deciphered through your feelings. Do not doubt when a feeling tells you of spirit presence. Just remain open to communication in whatever shape or form it may take.

I initially created this line of jewelry as a precursor to developing my own color therapy range. It is so effective as a form of color therapy that I have to take the jewels off when I look at another’s energy field, otherwise they too will be immersed in the colors of the jewelry I am wearing. I do not get this same effect with any other jewelry or color therapy product.

The Rainbow Spirit jewelry is currently offered at an introductory rate of $99. I am also offering custom-made jewelry orders specifically designed for your energy and needs together with an explanation of the colors used, their combined purpose, and the reasons for their presence. This month I am leading a Color InTuition workshop at Omega with a Wishing Circle and book signing on Saturday evening June 7th. Even if you are not in the workshop you can attend the Wishing Circle.

For two consecutive Mondays I will be offering consultations at Opal Moon. At the end of the month I will be in Denver at the INATS conference and leading short workshops at a variety of venues in the area. Check my calendar for more information.

I work in many wonderful venues up and down the east coast. They are all dependent upon the person who was inspired to create a vision. This month I would like to honor and highlight the work of Eileen Owoc of MindBody Connection, a unique fitness studio. She is opening a new section incorporating spirit into her already successful business in Cooper City.

Eileen is a beacon of light in Florida and I love being a part of her circle. This center embraces many levels of spirit with intuitive consultations and yoga a major part of the agenda. Essentially she is creating a holistic venue designed to open the mind, body, and spirit to all levels of balance. Other than Omega there is no other center on my schedule with this same intention offered in this way. If you are in the area look her up.

This month I would like to send love and healing energy to those who live on the streets either by choice or by accident. I had a friend many years ago who experienced a very difficult and challenging upbringing. She escaped to London, but found herself living on the streets. She was young and vulnerable and opened my eyes to many of the issues encountered by abused souls. She was a very sensitive woman and showed me that many of the people on the streets just could not emotionally or mentally manage their lives. Instead of judging these people and their reasons for living on the streets send them your love.
