Christ Consciousness
The 25th of December was originally celebrated as a festival to honor the Sun God. The customary Christmas trimmings also have their origins in Pagan rituals. For instance, the traditional Christmas tree probably evolved from the practice of cutting down a pine tree from one of the temple groves the night before a holy day and decorating it with effigies of Pagan deities. The “country dwellers” were accustomed to celebrating on this day, so, it was adopted by the church as the birthday of Jesus.
Jesus brought a message of love and light to the world. He embodied the Christ-Light - spiritual illumination - and shared the news that we all have this divine spark within us.
Throughout these next few months focus on the Christ-Consciousness within you. Acknowledge the divine light within others and be conscious of the intricate patterns of your existence. Look carefully at the gifts and challenges of your daily life. Who gives you the greatest lessons? Who shows you the most love? Who expresses their appreciation for you? Who irritates or angers you? These people are mirrors. There are no coincidences in your life. When you analyze a dream each person in the dream is an aspect of you. Life is just dream. Each person reflects how you see yourself. If you want something to change in your life look carefully at the reflections.
