It has been one year since the publication of my first book Wishing, so I want to devote this newsletter to the essence of making our wishes come true.

Wishing wasn’t my first book idea.  My mother passed into spirit when I was in my early twenties and has over time come to me with messages “from beyond the veil.” Around 10 years ago she sent a message to me in a dream. I don’t recall the details of the dream, but I do remember that she showed me lots of colored pieces of paper and told me to write. When I woke up my first thought was to get a computer. I visualized what I wanted, imagined typing my book, and then promptly forgot about it. Later that day the universe provided me with a computer in full working order and I set to work writing a book on intuition and psychic development. I still have this book and so one day this will be published too.

Then one day I had a conversation that changed my focus. It was with my then boyfriend – now my husband – Win. He often hiked and once walked a long stretch of the Appalachian Trail. He spoke to me about how wonderful it was to be in the open, surrounded by nature and was especially enthused about eating a barbecued feast outdoors. The only kink in this plan was that he no longer owned a barbecue. So he made an intention to purchase one the next day. As most of you who have read Wishing will know, Win never got to the store. Instead, a kindly neighbor provided him with exactly what he wished for – an outdoor grill. What prompted me to write Wishing was Win’s remark on receiving this gift - he said that I was the only person this kind of thing happens to. You know as well as I do that this is not true, it just might on occasion seem that way.

We all make wishes. How many times do you wish for a parking spot and against all the odds get one? Many people have parking angels, but my guides tell me that angels don’t find you a parking spot for your car, but they do use the energy you put out.  Your guides and angels use the energy of your intention to help manifest your desire. That is why it is important to formulate in your mind what it is you want so that your guides, angels, and the universe can help create it with you.

There are no coincidences. When my book was published my work was devoted to other modalities, but I know that the energy it embodies is exactly what is needed right now in book form. I have had the most wonderful feedback from people whose lives have changed as a consequence of reading Wishing.  My intention of creating a book that would convey universal laws in a useful and easy to understand format was manifested.

So here are my top three wishes from my career Wish List for 2009:
1. I wish that my color book is accepted by a publisher and is a worldwide success. 
2. I wish that my ColorScope is published in an internationally recognized magazine.
3. I wish that my work is highlighted on the Ellen Show (I love Ellen’s fun approach).

What are your top three wishes? Write them out now. We will have a Wishing page on my website ready for you to make your wishes very soon. Until then, think about what you most want in your life. In addition to wishing, think about one step you can take now that will help manifest each of your wishes.

Radio Shows
On Saturday 16th May I will be interviewed together with Win on Karen Paolino’s new radio show between 11.00-11.30am. I will post a listen link on my blog so that you can listen to the show live.

I have written about Karen in previous newsletters. She is an enthusiastic lightworker and angel messenger surrounded by angels and fairies. She held the space last week for me to offer my GPS – Guidance for the Psychic Soul seminar at her center in Abington, MA.  I am very excited to manifest a new creation aligning color with the angelic realm and will unveil this on Karen’s show. I have been feeling more of a connection with angels and fairies over this past year and so I am delighted that this part of my work is expanding. I will add the new AngelScope to my blog together with my three-color ColorScope from the Leave it to Cleaver show on Saturdays.

Remember that you can sign up for email updates of my blog. This means that each time I add a new post you will be informed of the update via email. You just click on the link in your email to go to the new post. 

Calendar Events
Win and I are traveling to different centers from June to October. I am constantly updating my calendar so do check for changes. Some of the dates I have yet to finalize include three consultation days at the Omega Wellness Center, possibly the first three Wednesdays in August. Win will be offering one-on-one Life Coaching sessions on these days too. During August, Win and I will be offering a new combined one-on-one session at Opal Moon, dates have yet to be determined, but we are very excited about this new development in our work. We will be at Opal Moon offering separate consultations early in July, so if you miss us then watch out for new dates in August.

I continue to be busy and I have not had the time to offer Internet Consultations yet, but hope to have this service available again in June. 

We will be at the Lodge at Woodloch in Hawley, PA at the end of June. The workshops and consultations offered there are limited to residents.  For those staying at the Lodge I will be organizing a jewelry trunk show on one of the weekend afternoons.

In July I will be at Circles of Wisdom in Andover, MA, near Boston offering a Color Intuition seminar, Wishing Circle and book signing, plus a day of consultations.  This will be my first visit to this center; so if you live in the area, do come along.

The rest of July will be spent in Pennsylvania, first at Aviana Retreat Center in Harrisburg.  I met Nancy Schmitt the owner of Aviana at Omega a few years ago. She invited me to her spa center in Hershey. It was my first time in Hershey and I couldn’t believe how delicious the town smelled. She has moved a couple of times since and now has a fabulous retreat center with consultation rooms, a store, and a wonderful workshop space all set in the country just on the outskirts of the city. 

After Aviana we will travel to Pittsburgh to Jean Haller’s Journeys of Life center in the heart of the university district. She opened her doors twenty years ago and continues to be a light in the community. Win and I will be teaching an InSight & InTuition weekend workshop at Jean’s country cottage followed by consultations during the week. 

Omega Staff Workshop
If you are a staff member at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies during July then you can sign up my InTuition: Strategies for Conscious Living workshop on the 13th and 14th July. If you don’t get your name on the sign up sheet in the dining hall then just come along anyway, but you do need to commit to the two days.  Please note this workshop is only available to Omega staff members.

This week I received the Japanese version of Wishing. It looks totally different from the US version, not just from the language perspective. The Japanese version is bright pink! It has a different cover altogether and looks extremely sweet and alive with energy, I love it! I will add a photo of this version to my next newsletter so that you can see what I mean.

I have a wonderfully long Wishing Chain containing beads from all the Wishing Circles I have held since Wishing was published. Each heart bead contains the wishes of participants who attended a Wishing Circle or visited our booth at a Goddess expo in the past year. My idea in creating the Wishing Chain was to increase the energy of your wish by joining together to make the wish and then to donate the energized chain to charity.

My intention is still to do this, but with a difference. I spoke with Helema, the resident Peace Quilt creator at Omega about designing a Wishing Quilt and incorporating the Wishing Chain into the quilt. Once finished the Wishing quilt would be displayed before auctioning it for or donating it to a charity. We are still in the pondering phase of this idea and have spoken of workshops and different ideas to manifest this, so do send any ideas you might have for us to put into the mix. For each wish you make on the soon to be finished online Wishing page I will add a heart bead to a new Wishing Chain.

Let’s put all the people who are suffering from this new strain of flu into healing light. Imagine Mexico receiving lots of cleansing light and sending the virus back into the cosmos to be made formless and harmless by the light. See all the fear just drift away and replaced with knowing and understanding that we are all safe and healthy and protected from harm.
