Aura Reading

An Aura Reading is a unique way to discover your “true colors.” Developing your aura reading ability and learning to identify aura color meaning can enhance your understanding of the human psyche. Aura reading has been the domain of many psychics. But aura reading is simply an ability to decipher energy. Changing visual focus and/or altering one’s state of consciousness can achieve aura reading.

Aura Color Meaning

The aura color meaning has been the province of psychics due to their aura reading ability. Each aura color meaning has a traditional, personal, and esoteric approach. For instance, the aura color we associate with love and anger is red. Traditionally the aura color meaning of red relates to love and anger but it also conveys a feeling of power. Personally the aura color meaning of red is movement and passion. I often see red in the auras of those who are enthusiastic about their direction and purpose. Esoterically the aura color meaning of red is survival and grounding.

Connecting With Your Guides

This meditation will help you to connect with your main guides and helper guides. It will also assist you in discovering your purpose in this lifetime, help you to recognize your role at this present moment, and answer any questions you may have about any current life issues.

Aura Color

There is an erroneous belief that we have just one aura color. You are a rainbow of aura color, a multi-faceted being. Aura reading is a complex process of interpreting many dimensions. The aura color reflects the thoughts, emotions, physical condition and spiritual beliefs of an individual. Each aura color can be read individually and in combination with the aura color either side. The aura color meaning is interpreted using intuition, knowledge and spirit guidance. Although I am compiling a glossary of aura color meaning the aura color meaning for each aura reading I give is personal to that person. Hence, any dictionary of aura color meaning is only a guide and not an absolute.

Aura-Soma - Born of the Goddess

Aura-Soma, a soul related system of dual colored bottles, began in a garage in England. Born through the blind apothecarist Vicky wall's clairvoyant vision and described as a "Mirror for the Soul," Aura-Soma is a unique facet of color therapy that has the potential to heal on all levels. Containing natural coloring, oil, water from the Chalice well in Glastonbury, herbal and crystal essences, aromatherapy oils and of course love, Aura-Soma is a complete system that allows an individual's intuitive insight to attract the right healing tool.

"Divide the waters, my child," Vicky had been told during a meditation in the early 1980's. She had no recollection of how she created the first Aura-Soma color bottles. It was as if unseen hands guided hers. Nor had she any idea of the bottles use. Standing in front of them they seemed to communicate their name and meaning of "Balance." Their "Aura-Soma" title was yet to be discovered.

Aura-Soma Balance

Divinely inspired, the Balance bottles first appeared at a conference where their purpose became clear. Some people were attracted to them because they were going through emotional change. Those needing assistance with physical issues also gravitated toward the bottles. Others just loved the calming influence of their gem-like appearance. Although Vicky had little knowledge of color she came to realize that identifiable challenges were reflected by specific color combinations. She quickly recognized their ability to heal on many different levels of being.

The Meaning of Aura-Soma

The name Aura-Soma came to Vicky in another meditation. Aura, derived from the ancient Greek word for "light," is the electromagnetic energy field surrounding all consciousness. The auric field is made up of many different dimensions containing a variety of color. Soma the Greek for "being," also Sanskrit for "Living Energies," represents the body or vehicle of expression on various levels. When a color is worn its energy is absorbed by the auric field of the wearer. Sometimes the energy field vibrates to a different color, so the same color worn on a different day may look out of balance.

Aura-Soma is the first system to harmoniously combine color with the innate healing properties of the natural world. Using the vibrational element of each component as part of a key to unlock the door to consciousness, the un-intrusive beauty of the Aura-Soma system empowers each individual to recognize his or her vibratory make-up within the chosen colors. Vicky's understanding of the energies held within the Aura-Soma Balance bottles came from her inner vision and clairvoyant realizations. For example, she recognized that many Atlantean souls were drawn toward the turquoise and blue range of Aura-Soma bottles, healers were attracted to the violet vibrations, and inter-planetary healers connected with gold and violet.

Connecting to Your Aura-Soma Balance Bottles

The Aura-Soma Balance oils or Equilibrium as they are also known, synchronize the wavelengths of the body's electromagnetic energy system. We are "Hue-man" beings and are essentially composed of light and color. Each individual is attracted to the colors he or she currently vibrates with. A consultation with an Aura-Soma practitioner consists of a choice of four bottles. Once chosen the practitioner will tell your story through the chosen colors, missing colors, the numerological influence of each bottle and its relationship with the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The chosen colors mirror a small aspect of the consciousness of the chooser at that moment in time. If the bottles are chosen at different times they may reflect another aspect of the chooser, just like chapters in the story of your life.

Naming the Aura-Soma Bottles

In Vicky's studio were she kept her Aura-Soma Balance bottles, her all green herb oil kept losing its color. She noticed that a peach tree in the garden was ailing and wondered if that had anything to do with the disappearance of the green within the bottle. She was intuitively drawn to place a red/green balance bottle in the ground next to the trees roots.

Some time later the bottle was found by a friend with all the color drained. The peach tree recovered and the following year it was laden with fruit, more than it had ever been before. Not only that the fruit had changed from a creamy color to a beautiful rose pink. This particular Aura-Soma bottle was named, "Go hug a tree!"

The bottles mirror consciousness. Sometimes the colors within the Aura-Soma bottles change reflecting whatever issues the owner is confronting at the time. The color can be completely drained from the bottle if that person needs more of a particular vibration to become whole again.

As a mirror of the soul, Aura-Soma reflects an aspect of the soul's purpose during this lifetime, the lessons an individual has chosen to experience, the gifts gained and the tools to achieve fulfillment of this desired objective. Through the magic of the color-infused oil and water we can see our true reflection, minus the ego and all the shackles of this lifetime. Its purity and innocence vibrate within each Aura-Soma bottle as if we are being seen and accepted for the first time.

Aura-Soma Pomanders

Aura-Soma produces a range of support systems to align the subtle bodies with a chosen path. The Pocket Pomander is one of these supportive elements used to strengthen and protect the auric field. The Pomanders contain many different herbs and come in fifteen colors. By accident the Pomanders strength was proven through the Kirlian photography images taken at one of Vicky's Aura-Soma workshops. A way of photographing the electromagnetic emanations from a living organism, the photos showed a brighter corona around the fingertips of the people who had used the Pomanders.

Aura-Soma Pomanders can protect the field from environmental drainage as well as from those with vampire-like energy and are particularly useful against any negative or challenging energy.

Aura Soma - A Message from the Masters - The Quintessence

Another wonderful gift from Aura-Soma is the Master Quintessence. Each Aura-Soma Quintessence is unique and invokes the positive energies of its color. They work on a higher vibrational level than the Pomanders, opening up a pathway to the intuitive and spiritual perceptions within the being. Each Master energy reflects a higher level of consciousness.

Using Aura-Soma

Aura-Soma is a wonderful way to reconnect your body, soul, and spirit, assisting this collective energy to work in harmony. My Work

I became interested in color symbolism as a child. Able to perceive auric energies from a very young age my mother, a yogini, encouraged and supported my ability, occasionally interpreting the colors I saw. She gave me a number of books on the subject but these held little information about the colors and combinations of color. At first I wondered if the people who wrote the books had actually what I was seeing as the interpretations differed and many did not ring true. I discovered that each person had their own interpretation and that color would reflect their view, but not in every case.

Twenty years ago I trained as a Color Therapist and through this discovered Aura-Soma. This beautiful system helped me appreciate the symbolic meaning of color combinations within the auric field. It is not just a case of one dominant color within a field. Your whole life, past, present, and potential, is held within this living organism. There are many colors, although there is often times a dominant energy.

In my counseling sessions I use Aura-Soma bottles in conjunction with my ability to see auric energy fields. Sometimes I see more color than my clients choose. I believe I am seeing a greater picture of who they are, maybe going deeper into their soul than they have chosen to look. We are on a path of healing. Any tool that can help us connect to a deeper aspect of ourselves is a valuable asset for self-healing, self-knowledge, and enlightenment.

My guides told me that the throat chakra connects to the spirit it is the voice of the soul. The third eye connects to the records of the soul/akasha and souls purpose in life. The crown connects to the divine mind and the divine plan for humankind.

Each chakra is associated with a physical, psychological, emotional, mental, spiritual and psychic aspect. Opening chakras to develop psychic awareness will naturally trigger any unfinished business, issues, challenges and gifts in these areas. For instance, opening chakra one – the root chakra, will stimulate your survival instincts and bring up any issues you have about your security, money, home, and career. But it could also intensify past and present physical ailments around the base of the spine, legs, and kidneys. You may experience some discomfort in the root chakra region. When this chakra is stimulated you can experience a tingling feeling in the legs and buttocks.

The gift of the root chakra is “knowing” who you are, being in the here and now, nurturing yourself and allowing yourself to be nurtured by others. Spiritually the root chakra grounds you and keeps you present. Essentially you are spirit in a physical body, but in order to be of any spiritual use you have to be grounded and live in the present moment. This is where your power is.

Your Psychic Gifts

Each chakra is associated with a psychic gift. The root chakra is your ability to stay grounded and bring information from another dimension into this dimension. The sacral chakra opens you to Empathy and Intuition. The Solar Plexus is an enormous powerhouse, the gateway to the intelligence of spirit. This is the chakra you use to sense on an instinctual level – gut feelings. The heart chakra is the balance, the fulcrum between the earth and spirit energies. This is the center of compassion, healing and the art of Psychometry. The Throat chakra is your center of expression. It is associated with the mediumistic skill of Clairaudience meaning Clear Hearing because energy travels between the throat and the small chakra openings beneath the ears. This is also the chakra of Channeling and Inspirational Speaking. The third eye the sixth chakra is the center of dreams, imagination, psychic sight, and Clairvoyance, which includes precognition. The crown chakra connects you with spirit and the higher self.

Intention

Before you begin the practice of opening your chakras for psychic work you need to have the right intention. Opening yourself up psychically is like opening your front door and inviting strangers into your home. You need to send the right message into the universe and to spirit.

Your intention in this instance is to open up your sensitivity in order to fully develop your psychic skills for the benefit of helping others. One of my teachers, Ivy Northage who ran one of the most sought after psychic circles in England, said that when she interviewed people for her development class she would ask why they wanted to develop. If the reply was anything other than the desire to help others she would not accept that person into her group. So intention is paramount.

Meditation

Meditation practice is a large part of psychic development. It should be done sitting up preferably in the Egyptian position. When you lie down you might tend to fall to sleep. Some people fall to sleep because they are not used to being with themselves and they cannot cope with it. Problems with meditation can also be resistance from your ego mind, an unconscious resistance to something related to the area of irritation or pain you might experience in your body.

Keeping Your Chakras Clear

Make it your goal to do your psychic work before a big meal or at least 2 hours afterward. In any psychic development you will be working with the chakras. The solar plexus chakra a storehouse of energy and ideally should be clear of any blockages. Literally on a physical level this means food. I do not eat for at least twelve hours before I work and fast while working. This may not work for you so I am not suggesting that you follow my lead, this is not the only way to work. Do whatever is right for you provided it is within the parameters of the universal law of spirit.

Protection

Always protect yourself when you open yourself up on a psychic level or whenever you meditate. Again you are opening the psychic door to various dimensions of energy and who knows what kind of energies will be attracted to your light.

It is a good idea to get into the practice of protecting yourself, regardless of whether or not you are working with your psychic centers. Check the meditation page. At the beginning of the meditation you are taken through a room cleansing process that includes cleansing and protecting your energy field with light. Light is one of the greatest protectors, as is love. Remember no darkness can live in the light. Once you have opened your chakras for psychic development you can tend to open them up whenever you think of psychic work or read psychic books or have a conversation about psychic experiences. Your chakras are like a balloon. Once it has been blown up it is easier to blow it up again. 

Closing Down Your Chakras

Your chakras react to intention. If your goal is psychic development then they will react accordingly. This means your chakras open wider to allow a higher intensity of energy to flow through them. If you were to leave the chakras exposed in this way all the time you would eventually become drained because you would be picking up too much energy. For instance, imagine you watched television all day, all night and then continued into the next day. Your eyes would become sore. This is similar to how your chakras react when they are left open.

You are also in jeopardy of absorbing negative energy because you are unable to adequately protect yourself as your own energy diminishes. Once your energy drops in this way it is also difficult for your doorkeeper guide to protect you. Working with your psychic mechanism holds many responsibilities discernment being one of them. Be aware that your psychic centers are living instruments of your spirit and your doorway into a multitude of dimensions. It is your duty to use them appropriately. Closing your chakras therefore is a major part of psychic awareness. 

Psychic Group Work

It is advisable if you intend to develop psychically to work with a group. Group work can help you to focus the energy and helps you to develop much faster. The support of a group will also help you to understand some of the sensations and experiences you encounter.

The Psychic Leap Of Faith

Psychic readings can help you to recognize and clarify your options in any given situation. However, psychic readings can be a hit and miss encounter especially if you take the leap and try psychic readings online. It is important before you attempt any psychic readings whether it is online, on the telephone, or in person, to know who you are trusting to give you helpful advice. Just because someone claims to be psychic doesn’t mean they are wise or spiritual, nor does it mean they are a good psychic. Check the person’s website and credentials. There should be a testimonials page informing you of the psychics work and his or her client’s experiences.

Quality Psychic Readings Versus Quantity

Psychic readings tend to vary in price. Just because one psychic charges more than another it does not mean the most expensive is the best. The varying prices for psychic readings does not appear to reflect the amount of psychic information of received. Some psychics offer a few short lines for their email psychic readings for the same price as another psychic, who will take the time to recommend suggestions and help when you need it most.

Be aware that some psychics use Internet psychic readings as a way of drawing you into another, longer, and more expensive consultation.

Choosing the Right Psychic Readings Option

Look at the array of psychic readings options and choose one that best suits your needs. Before attempting any psychic readings use your intuition to get a sense of the person you are putting your trust in. Use your own psychic ability. If there is a photograph of the psychic take a look and see how you feel. Light feelings often indicate positive psychic energy, while heavy feelings can mean negative psychic energy.

Accepting Information in Psychic Readings

Psychic readings are a great way to gather information and can be enlightening when re-read at a later date. Often psychic readings can be full of information that does not make sense at the time. By keeping a record of your psychic readings you can look back and note when events or issues occurred. It is often easier in hindsight to interpret what a psychic has seen for you. However, if any information you received during your psychic readings does not feel right then do not accept it. Always remember that you have choices. It is your choice to accept or to refuse the information that comes to you.

A psychic can make mistakes and your psychic readings interpretation can have many different explanations. You can choose to disregard the interpretation of the psychic and replace it with your own.

Your Freedom of Choice

Your potential future can be revealed by a variety of ways, psychic readings being one way. For instance, imagine taking the freeway to a particular destination. The psychic reading might specify the freeway and the destination, but freedom of choice gives you the option of selecting an exit. Your options can be exposed by your psychic readings, even speculate which you will take and what your ultimate destination will be. But the whole point of being on earth is “Freedom Of Choice!”.

The Internet is a wonderful way to bring psychic readings into your home. Online psychic readings are a useful service for those who need help with issues too overwhelming to deal with alone and can serve as a confirmation of your intuition.

Remember that any information you receive during your psychic readings is individual to you and on some level is for your highest good. If you receive anything that you deem to be negative or the individual who is giving you the psychic reading is not in his or her integrity then just delete the information you receive and visualize a light shower around yourself to dissolve the negative energy.

Psychic Readings with Elizabeth Harper

Everybody has a natural impact they create in the world. Do you know yours? Everybody has a life purpose that gives him or her the ability to make decisions based on what they want to do, rather than reacting to the conditions in their lives. Do you know your life purpose? Knowing my natural impact and having a written life purpose statement has allowed me to live a more fulfilled life.

I retired in 1992, and was searching for what to do next. I had a sense that something was calling me, but didn’t understand what. In 1998, I started The Coaching Training Institute’s courses. At that time I had no interest in being a life Coach, I just liked taking classes and I wanted to be a better communicator and leader.

During the Fulfillment class, we explored the impact we naturally create in the world. I knew I enjoyed helping people, but I wasn’t doing very much of that. Through a series of guided visualizations, however I started getting a clearer picture of what that could look like. In the class, we coached each other to get a phrase about our natural impact. Mine was something like, “to help others who want to help themselves.”

The second part of the process was to identify what you would have to be to have this impact. The goal was to come up with a metaphor or symbol. Following some more coaching I realized that I only wanted to help people who wanted to be helped, and that I was not interested in working with people who were resistant. I then got this image of people coming to a table. I thought of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The round table was important because everyone is seated equally, and the circle is a symbol of wholeness.

I saw individuals coming to my table, sitting down, and eating. I only provided the table, and the space. Finally, I saw myself as the table, and with a bit of word-smithing, I arrived at my life purpose statement.

During the next few years, I did some informal coaching, and saw how that was aligned with my life purpose. When an opportunity arose to do it full-time, I took it. In 2000, I became the Staff Life Coach at The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies.

My life was changed forever when I learned my natural impact, and wrote down my life purpose. I consciously and unconsciously started moving towards that simple 13-word sentence phrase, my true north. I made decisions that were in accordance with the natural impact I create. I began to live a more fulfilled life. Over the years, I have coached 100’s of people on their life purpose, and they have all enjoyed the same experience as me. You can do it I can help.

All life has a colorful and musical harmonic rhythm. We think of life as human, animal, vegetable, and mineral, but what about the life in your name? Each letter of the alphabet vibrates to a specific musical note and color. Your name is a pulsing assortment of vibrational energy that can be played by an orchestra or creatively expressed on canvas by an artist.

Altering your name adjusts your vibrational make-up, an energy that women may well appreciate more than men. When I married my name changed transforming not only my title but something within my psyche too. My husband changed his name to honor his family line it also shifted his energy and his life.

Every time your name is uttered its vibrational energy showers your auric field. The right name with positive vibrations can transform who you are and the path you are on.

In the movie Ghost I noticed that when Patrick Swayze’s character was ready to go into the light it contained orbs. There is more truth to this than anyone would realize by just seeing this image.

Orbs have been appearing more and more as we open to the conscious awareness of spirit. On the top of my website I have revolving images with words. Two photos are taken at workshops with orbs appearing in them. I have read that when we ask for orbs they appear but both these images were taken without that thought in kind. There was only the intention of working with energy, light, and spirit. In fact, both photos were taken when we were sensing the energy of the space. We do this by dancing or moving around the room with our arms, hands, and body open to sense energy.

At the end of my recent workshop at Omega one of the students Haseema took a series of shots revealing the movement of orbs.

My sense of the orbs is that they are the energy of spirit, our guides, angels, loved ones, and of course the energy of the place we are in. Some of these orbs belonged to the space, I felt it was revealing itself to us especially as we had thanked and appreciated it for holding our group energy.

Sometimes faces can be seen within orbs. The prevalence of this phenomenon tells me that things are changing for us. We are being shown energies that I have seen since childhood. I see devas and elementals like this, orbs of light dancing in the trees, air, and water. I have seen this same energy in my home. It was built on an old Roman site where there had been much emotional energy.

We often see clouds of energy not realizing that these are the same as the orbs, energy in motion.
