Chakra

Ananda Khanda

I find that when I give consultations I gain wisdom that I hadn’t thought about or wasn’t aware of. This happened at the weekend during a session at Divine Inspirations in Nutley, NJ. I was talking about the new heart energy between the heart and throat chakra, a little to the right of the heart. This is a turquoise color, the vibration of the new age. I spoke of this new energy opening up and then began talking about the resonance that would connect everyone as it awakened within each person. I learned that once opened this chakra would link each of us as one like a network, a reflection of the new age of Aquarius, the age of the community. Any blue color relates to communication so this chakra guides us to communicate with each other and eventually to communicate on a higher vibrational frequency. This is why so many of us are training as psychics or are interested in sensory living. Part of this is being stimulated by this chakra opening up.

Color Signs

On Saturday my computer was on my booth table at the MBS with my Chakra Workout Meditations CD . On Sunday it would not play no matter what I did. Then I noticed that the computer had somehow changed the name of the artist on my CD to “Elizabeth Harper and The Technicolor Dreamcoat!” My guides tend to have fun, maybe I need to buy a new coat grin

Wishing…You Are Here Part III

This week’s Wishing You Are Here comes from under the sea. I love all the beautiful colors behind Wishing - fish wanting to get in on the photo:) Water symbolizes emotions and we could image that all the fish symbolize different kinds of emotions maybe originating from the chakras. If you don’t already know the chakras are energy vortexes, a part of the energy system of all life. They feed the body, mind, emotional being, and spirit, absorbing energy then metabolizing and dispelling anything that is unwanted. If a chakra is blocked then is can’t do its job of moving energy around and keeping life in balance.

Thought is energy, so If there is a thought that is negative then this pervades the chakra it relates to and can create disharmony. I mention this because when wishes do not manifest it can sometimes relate to a chakra’s dis-function. If you wish for love and it doesn’t manifest then maybe a thought is stuck in your heart. If you wish for money and you don’t receive abundance then it might be due to your root chakra being blocked.

My Chakra Workout Meditations CD can help unblock and cleanse energy in the chakras. You can also connect with each of your chakras and ask each one what it needs at this moment to heal. You can find out more about each of the chakras from my Chakra Series of newsletters. These were inspired by my guides so you could call them channeled works.

Your WinC Spot For New Year Week

Before you read this week’s WinC Spot and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Sugar Plum(violet/red), Silver Bells, or Champagne. Now read away!

Sugar Plum

Thanks to Virginia Pasternak for this suggestion

Choose Sugar Plum and you are saying that your week ahead is full of change. It can go from one extreme to the other – from red root chakra topics such as your ability to manifest, to violet crown chakra experiences like a test of faith for instance. But, the point of the Sugar Plum is that despite its skins slightly tart edge, when ripe it is sweet like honey. The message then is that while your week might appear to be wrought with instability full of ups and downs, it is in fact very fruitful. Inside the plum is a seed, so within each experience is an opportunity not just for growth, but for inviting sugar coated sweetness and maybe a little spice into your life.

Silver Bells

Thanks to Jess Hubley for this suggestion

It is time for you to be heard. Start out by sharing your voice with friends. In no time at all you will have a large audience more than willing to listen. Silver is a precious metal and reflects your knowledge and wisdom. Some part of this information will be expressed in a unique and creative way. This will be so inspiring that it will encourage you to dig deeper into the depths of your creativity to see what treasures lie beneath your everyday consciousness. The keyword is teaching, but remember that when a bell rings an angel gets its wings. Angels are messengers. So, unbeknownst to you the message you bring comes from a higher source and a part of that inspirational journey you are about to embark on.

Champagne

Thanks to Meg Vecchi for this suggestion

Life is certainly bubbling for you this week as someone or something is literally going to pop your cork! You have a lot to look forward to and not just this week. Plenty of new and exciting adventures will continue into 2009. Champagne signifies a celebration and the grapes can only be grown in one region of the world, so choosing this color says that a trip to a particular place will be significant. You may not understand this until you arrive. Some time around June you will be celebrating and looking back over your whirlwind of a year, but the second half of the year may not move quite as quickly. Stick with it though as projects started mid-year will gain momentum in 2010.

Your WinC Spot

If you missed the Leave it to Cleaver Radio Show you can download it in its entirety as a Podcast from the Leave it to Cleaver website.

Even if you miss the show, your WinC Spot will be available every Monday on my blog. We are still toying with the idea of creating an experimental video WinC Spot, this will probably happen in the New Year. Do send me your ideas for colors for next weeks WinC Spot - I already have two suggestions. And remember to check back next week to find out what your colors are and how your choice reflects your week ahead.

Happy Holidays

Carnival of Healing #173 Sealed With Love

I am delighted and honored to be hosting the Carnival of Healing #173 during this special week in history/herstory, and I am especially grateful to About.com’s Guide to Holistic Healing, Phylameana Iila Desy for giving me the opportunity to host my first carnival. The Carnival of Healing is a weekly round up of personal blog posts on the topics of holistic health, wellness, spirituality, and self-empowerment. Next week Nina Dixon will be hosting Carnival #174.

This week’s blog roll is about the abundant mysticism of you!
1 – is the number of the Sun reflecting individuality and the Divine Spark
7 – symbolizes Neptune the planet of mysticism and imagination
3 – is for Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion

I work with color. Having seen auras since childhood color interpretation comes naturally to me. So, to guide you on this blog journey I have created this week’s carnival to reflect the colors and symbolism of the seven major hue-man chakras. If you are not familiar with chakras they are like an energetic alimentary canal - they take energy in, process it, and then eliminate whatever is not needed. They are particularly susceptible to thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, and especially sensitive to the environment. Each blog entry comes under a color with a subheading that reflects the gifts or challenges of that color.

Red

Manifestation
Daylle Deanna Schwartz author and self-empowerment counselor has travelled a road that many have journeyed, but few have written about. Her latest series of Law of Attraction articles focuses on the impact that negative news - from the down turn in the economy to a flu epidemic – can have on us. Daylle presents the principles of resonance in a way that highlights their true meaning. In her words, “Though the economy is creating a negative environment, you can keep your own little corner of the world positive.”

Food
We know that antioxidants are good for us, but why are they beneficial and where do they come from? What Antioxidants Really do and Easy Ways to Get Enough answers these questions, and the inclusion of an Indigo super-food didn’t escape my notice – keeps my color buds happy!

This post triggered a flurry of comments from her readers.

Your WinC Spot (Week in Color Forecast) For the Week of 2nd February 2009

Before you read this week’s WinC Spot and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Blue, Charcoal, or Orange  Now, go ahead and read your color forecast!

Blue

Letting Go!

You have been holding on to some unhealthy habits, relationships, and beliefs and it is high time you recognized how this is shaping your life. The image for you this week is of a blue pair of scissors. These are available for you to cut away anything that is not working for you, such as a relationship that is less than satisfactory or a job that does not fulfill you. Blue is the color of communication, so it might just be that you need to speak up and ask for what you want instead of complaining. On the articles page of my website you will find a wonderful exercise to Cut the Ties that Bind. Use this to consciously and energetically sever the ties that no longer serve you and give you the space to create a life you love. This week your energy may be a little lower than normal. It is a reflection of the emotional weight you have held onto and one way or another this is about to shift.

Charcoal

Finding the right key!

You have been hitting a few wrong keys lately, but nothing that can’t be corrected. Take a little time to center and make a list of 10 things you would like to go back and change. Then imagine that you are erasing them and seamlessly replacing them with corrections. Everything is energy so on an energy level anything and everything is possible. Your intentions are important this week, as you will soon discover. Your thought is creating much faster than it used to. So, as you re-write your past consider how you would like the next 20 years in your future to look too. Check out Win’s blog for a little help. He asks you to email him about the one thing you asked for or said no to today and he will send you a link to his Future Self guided meditation. This meditation allows you to visit yourself 20 years from today, and to get to know the person you are becoming.

Orange

Finishing Touches!

Your excitement is almost palpable. You finally have all your ducks in a row, now all you need is that finishing touch and within the next two weeks you will know exactly what that is. You are going to ride this wave of satisfaction until April then the surge will wane. Be sure to keep all lines of communication open because around that time you will be looking for a new adventure, one that may take you either to distant lands or will connect with far off places. Mid-week expect an invitation to meet with old friends and connect with new ones. Take this opportunity to impart your creative ideas with a focus group. You don’t have to share their opinions, but it always pays to be open to others’ perspectives. The image for you this week is of sweet sticky buns with a message to stick with the people you resonate with. This is a learning curve for you as you need to be loved and accepted by everyone, but not everyone is right for you.  Read this article Chakra Series Sacral Center to understand more about yourself.

Your WinC Spot

Your weekly color forecast or Your WinC Spot is available every Monday on my blog. Very soon Your Week in Color will be coming to you in a video format. Have a Warm Week Releasing the Blues, Finding the Right Charcoal Note & Finishing it all Off With a Touch of Orange

Your Weekly ColorScope For February 21st

Your Weekly ColorScope can be heard on the Leave it Cleaver Show in its new time slot of Saturday - 12.00 to 2.00pm, and my call in time is 1.30pm.

Before you read Your Weekly ColorScope and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Kiwi Green, Dragon Yellow, and Pomegranate Red  Now, go ahead and read your Color Forecast!.

Kiwi Green

Feeling Your Way

A group of friends will rally round you to help you make some difficult decisions this week.  Be open to everyone’s perspectives. This collective viewpoint will guide you to make the right choices.  At some point you will talk about education and will discuss some new form of training that you are particularly drawn to.  Health wise you may feel a little off.  You are more sensitive than you realize and tend to react to changes in atmospheric pressure.  This tendency would be worth investigating. The image for you this week is a kiwi fruit formerly known as a Chinese gooseberry. So don’t be surprised if there are Chinese or New Zealand influences around you.
Green is the heart chakra color and the inner heart is pink.  So try wearing pink with green this week to support your journey.

Dragon Yellow

Breathing out Fear

You have had more than your fair share of prickly moments lately. These relate to fears surrounding an event that you are in the process of preparing for. Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out, affirm, ” I go with the flow easily and effortlessly.” In 4 to 6 weeks this event will be in the past and you can move on with your life. In the meantime, this is an opportunity for you to understand and face your fears, and to deal with them as they arise.  Notice how your body reacts during this time. Tune into your body, and let go of any tension you are storing in your body into the breath. Dragon fruit from the cactus represents yellow this week so try practicing the yoga “Breath of Fire.” Dragon fruit comes from South America, so expect links with these cultures and places over the coming two weeks.
The opposite of yellow is violet, the color of transformation.  If you have a purple glass or vessel, fill it with water, position where it will receive rays from the sun, leave it for 24 HRS and then drink up.  Make this a daily practice for at least the next month.

Pomegranate Red

Mysteries Revealed

Red is the color of the center of the earth and Pomegranate the fruit of the underworld.  Pomegranates appear on the High Priestess tarot card and it is believed that it was actually the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden.  So, for you this week there will be mysteries revealed, questions are answered, and all confusion replaced with clarity.  You have been through a great deal of soul searching this year and you are about to reap the benefits of your perseverance.  An unexpected phone call or message from a woman will trigger events over the coming month that will make you think you’re on a wild goose chase.  All will be revealed some time around the month of May. There could be some Greek and Indian influences for you during this time.
Try wearing red with white to clarify your purpose. White reflects all colors and combined with red will help illuminate your current path.
