This week’s colors are inspired by a mother’s love and the day honoring this most maternal instinct - Mother’s Day. My mother died more than 25 years ago, but I think of her often and always with love in my heart. I appreciate her gift of life to me.

Links

Red brings a message of sadness for you this week, but not in the way you might think. You will be letting go of something old, possibly a memory or some memorabilia that has stood in the way of you moving forward. It is likely that this connects to family ties – red denotes blood relations – but it could just as well be linked with close friends that are like family. There is a particularly strong west coast connection for you this week, a song that will stir up emotions, and some good news linking to next month.
The Gift: There is only one of us here - Meditate on the blood connection between you and all the people you have known. Imagine it is a beautiful clean and vibrant red ribbon, linking you with your soul family.

Pink

Sensitivity

Pink hearts will be open hearts this week and your color choice reflects your increased sensitivity to everything and everyone around you. Take care not to take things too personally.  Just like a flower, you are opening up to a new way of being that can make you a touch vulnerable.  Once the initial expansion is over you can get back to being your old self, but in a new way.  The universe will offer you a message of love through a child, or a child-like person. Be open to receive this love in whatever shape or form it may take.
The Gift: Everyone is a reflection of you - Honor your sensitivity and be open to receive love by wearing something pink every day this week.

White

Consciousness

This will be one of your calmer weeks, although it won’t start out that way. On Wednesday you will either see or notice a Buddha that you hadn’t seen before, or will perform a Buddhist ritual such as meditation. These are signs of a turning point and everything that occurs after it will appear to be in slow motion. Around the same time as this shift, you will contemplate taking a journey possibly within the next two weeks. This could be an outer or an inner journey or both. As white indicates new ideas and experiences, expect this trip to be a unique adventure.
The Gift: Everything is an extension of you - Place white flowers in your home, but first connect with their consciousness and ask them where they need to be positioned.

Your Weekly ColorScope for May 16th 2009

This week’s ColorScope colors are in honor of events started on May 16th. We have:
Green for all the leaves coming out and in honor of “Love a Tree” Day
Gold in honor of the first anniversary of the Academy Awards - May 16th 1929
Purple for Wear Purple for Peace Day – for the obvious reasons for peace, but also to encourage aliens to contact us, peacefully!

Love is in the air for you arriving via some form of connection with trees.  One of these messages of love will be straight in front of your eyes. To see it you need to open your heart and accept that you deserve to be loved.  Mid-week a gift of money will perk up your spirits and a loved one “in spirit” will send you a message of hope.

Awards

Kudos to you! Something you have been working on for the past six months is coming to fruition. While everyone will not appreciate your hard work, you can sit back and reap the benefits of a job well done. Your next project will come via three messages; one from a woman of good standing, a flower, and the written word.
The Gift: Place three gold objects in the north/fame area of your workspace to invoke blessings.

Purple

Peace

This week, purple reflects your connection with others. Work has been getting in the way and your friendships are suffering. A quick fix is to come back to your center and renegotiate your commitments. In the long term though, take a look at your values. You will feel more at peace when you make an intention to honor them.

This week’s ColorScope colors are in honor of our trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico.

This is a great time to learn a new language or skill as you are in the mood to easily soak up everything around you. Do take care though if you are energetically sensitive as you may take in vibrations that do not serve you. If this happens just apply an Epsom salt rub while taking a shower, or imagine standing under a cleansing shower of light. Once out of the shower wrap yourself in a cloak of protection, whatever color feels right for you.

Like the ocean your emotions swell and calm, so take a deep breath into the center of your chest and as your breathe out focus on being a calm body of water, just like the sea.
