Carnival of Healing #173 Sealed With Love
I am delighted and honored to be hosting the Carnival of Healing #173 during this special week in history/herstory, and I am especially grateful to About.com’s Guide to Holistic Healing, Phylameana Iila Desy for giving me the opportunity to host my first carnival. The Carnival of Healing is a weekly round up of personal blog posts on the topics of holistic health, wellness, spirituality, and self-empowerment. Next week Nina Dixon will be hosting Carnival #174.
This week’s blog roll is about the abundant mysticism of you!
1 – is the number of the Sun reflecting individuality and the Divine Spark
7 – symbolizes Neptune the planet of mysticism and imagination
3 – is for Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion
I work with color. Having seen auras since childhood color interpretation comes naturally to me. So, to guide you on this blog journey I have created this week’s carnival to reflect the colors and symbolism of the seven major hue-man chakras. If you are not familiar with chakras they are like an energetic alimentary canal - they take energy in, process it, and then eliminate whatever is not needed. They are particularly susceptible to thoughts, emotions, and beliefs, and especially sensitive to the environment. Each blog entry comes under a color with a subheading that reflects the gifts or challenges of that color.

Manifestation
Daylle Deanna Schwartz author and self-empowerment counselor has travelled a road that many have journeyed, but few have written about. Her latest series of Law of Attraction articles focuses on the impact that negative news - from the down turn in the economy to a flu epidemic – can have on us. Daylle presents the principles of resonance in a way that highlights their true meaning. In her words, “Though the economy is creating a negative environment, you can keep your own little corner of the world positive.”
Food
We know that antioxidants are good for us, but why are they beneficial and where do they come from? What Antioxidants Really do and Easy Ways to Get Enough answers these questions, and the inclusion of an Indigo super-food didn’t escape my notice – keeps my color buds happy!
Flow
MonaVie, heralded by many as a miracle drink has some claiming it is a scam, while others who use it professes to its benefits. Decide for yourself. Read both the MonaVie article and the comments to get the two sides of the story.

Cleansing
I often see yellow in the auras of those who are going through some form of internal or external cleanse, so when I read Amethyst Wyldfyre’s inspired blog article, The Visionary Vibe Report January Clearance, aligning personal cleansing with the January sales, I had one of those “AHA” moments that was very yellow!

Forgiveness
One of the reasons many of us are attracted to the healing profession is because we recognize a need to heal ourselves. Author and psychic medium Carole Lynne shares memories of her mother in My Mother’s Sewing Basket and relating how important it is to forgive. This post triggered a flurry of comments from her readers.
Balance
John Wolfe believes that each and every one of our actions, no matter how trivial, creates an impact; not only in our lives, but in the lives of others as well. Evoking Change Through Uplifting Action is a lesson in how to deal with the law of cause and effect.

Your WinC Spot (Week in Color) For the Week of 26th January 2009
Before you read this week’s WinC Spot and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Lilac, Pink, or Yellow. Now, go ahead and read your color forecast!
Lilac
Lilac Flowers
.jpg)
Watch out for a misunderstanding at work that will get you in a bit of a pickle and a mid-week meeting that will leave you feeling left out of the loop. Toward the weekend news from family or close friends will entice you to take a much-needed break. This presents a chance to regroup and realize that you have been playing defensive. It is time for some action. The sweet smell of success is in the air for you, it just requires some strategy and careful planning. Your flower is lilac representing community and networking. Use these qualities to focus on your next step.
Pink
Lotus
.jpg)
You might think you have nothing to show for all the change you have been through over the past few weeks, well you would be wrong. There has been more going on behind the scenes than you realize and you are about to reap the benefits of all your hard work. A message will lift your spirits as it promises good things to come, and a trip you have been planning in February could be more memorable than you anticipate. Your flower is a beautiful pink lotus representing an open and abundant heart. Expect the gift of love this week in whatever shape or form it may take.
Yellow
Daffodils
.jpg)
Life will deal you a few good hands over the coming weeks, but the opinions of those that have your best interests at heart could mislead you causing you to miss out on some wonderful opportunities. While you have the support of friends and colleagues you are the only one that can make “it” happen. So, don’t go looking a gift horse in the mouth when an opportunity arises, take it! Your flower this week is a daffodil representing bright prospects and focus, guiding you to keep your eye on the finish line.
Your WinC Spot
If you missed the Leave it to Cleaver Radio Show you can download it in its entirety as a Podcast from the Leave it to Cleaver website.
Even if you miss the show, Your WinC Spot will be available every Monday on my blog. We are still toying with the idea of creating an experimental video WinC Spot or maybe a Podcast or both! This will probably happen some time soon. Do send me your ideas for colors for next weeks WinC Spot. And remember to check back next week to find out what your colors are and how your choice reflects your week ahead.
Have a Warm Week Filled With Lilac Action, Pink Love, & Yellow Opportunities
Your Weekly ColorScope Starting 16th February 2009
I have my video camera and the website’s set up to get my video blog onto my site. I am adding this week’s Color Forecast as text and will record and upload a Vblog later in the week. I have also decided to change the name from Your Week in Color to ColorScope as it is more in line with my current monthly ColorScope.
Before you read Your Weekly ColorScope and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Flaming Orange, Yellow Ocher, and Deep Pink Now, go ahead and read your Color Forecast!.
Flaming Orange
Opportunities
.jpg)
You are in for a warmer week, and not necessarily weather-wise. This is a time of reunions with old flames, distant relatives, and school friends. Toward the end of the month you will have at least one invitation to speak of, possibly more. Connections with your past augur that turning point you have been yearning for. You have the power now all you need is direction. One new friend will be a source of inspiration and will offer you a wealth of information. Be willing to accept what you have wished for in whatever shape or form it may take, even if it irritates you.
Try a few drops of Orange Flower essence in water to balance your emotional and mental bodies, and to kindle your enthusiasm to take the next important step in your life.
Yellow Ocher
Decisions
.jpg)
You belong to a close knit group of like-minded people and this week your loyalty will be put to the test. One of your group will introduce an outsider who brngs disruption to your community. Be mindful of where your energy goes. Remember to stay centered and focused on what you most want rather than on what upsets you. By doing this you will recognize the disturbance for what it really is. Toward the end of the week an intimate conversation with a friend will clarify your decisions and will somehow influence a change in your diet.
Drink lemon water or lemon tea to purify your system and place lemon peel on a heater to cleanse energy in your space.
Deep Pink
Polarities
.jpg)
Your week has a push and pull flavor to it as all the blessings you will receive will be balanced by challenges. A surprise gift will bring up some unexpected and welcome emotions. This will briefly lower your boundaries and open you up to some new experiences. Toward the end of the week someone close will push one of your buttons. This is a blessing in disguise provided you act on it. It will make you realize what belongs in your life and what no longer serves you. There could be talk of a trip over, by, or on the water, this may well come after spilling fluid or being caught in a rainstorm. By the week’s end you will be thankful for a rest from the emotional fulcrum.
Use Rose essential oil or rose petals in the bath to bring balance and love into your heart.
If you like Your Weekly ColorScope you are going to love my monthly color forecast too. My ColorScope is one of a kind and is updated monthly. Check back later for my first Video Color Forecast, and watch for updates on the return of the Leave it Cleaver Show.
Enjoy Your Week!!
Your Weekly ColorScope For February 21st
Your Weekly ColorScope can be heard on the Leave it Cleaver Show in its new time slot of Saturday - 12.00 to 2.00pm, and my call in time is 1.30pm.
Before you read Your Weekly ColorScope and with the intention of receiving information about your week ahead, choose one of the following colors - Kiwi Green, Dragon Yellow, and Pomegranate Red Now, go ahead and read your Color Forecast!.
Kiwi Green
Feeling Your Way
.jpg)
A group of friends will rally round you to help you make some difficult decisions this week. Be open to everyone’s perspectives. This collective viewpoint will guide you to make the right choices. At some point you will talk about education and will discuss some new form of training that you are particularly drawn to. Health wise you may feel a little off. You are more sensitive than you realize and tend to react to changes in atmospheric pressure. This tendency would be worth investigating. The image for you this week is a kiwi fruit formerly known as a Chinese gooseberry. So don’t be surprised if there are Chinese or New Zealand influences around you.
Green is the heart chakra color and the inner heart is pink. So try wearing pink with green this week to support your journey.
Dragon Yellow
Breathing out Fear
.jpg)
You have had more than your fair share of prickly moments lately. These relate to fears surrounding an event that you are in the process of preparing for. Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out, affirm, ” I go with the flow easily and effortlessly.” In 4 to 6 weeks this event will be in the past and you can move on with your life. In the meantime, this is an opportunity for you to understand and face your fears, and to deal with them as they arise. Notice how your body reacts during this time. Tune into your body, and let go of any tension you are storing in your body into the breath. Dragon fruit from the cactus represents yellow this week so try practicing the yoga “Breath of Fire.” Dragon fruit comes from South America, so expect links with these cultures and places over the coming two weeks.
The opposite of yellow is violet, the color of transformation. If you have a purple glass or vessel, fill it with water, position where it will receive rays from the sun, leave it for 24 HRS and then drink up. Make this a daily practice for at least the next month.
Pomegranate Red
Mysteries Revealed
.jpg)
Red is the color of the center of the earth and Pomegranate the fruit of the underworld. Pomegranates appear on the High Priestess tarot card and it is believed that it was actually the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden. So, for you this week there will be mysteries revealed, questions are answered, and all confusion replaced with clarity. You have been through a great deal of soul searching this year and you are about to reap the benefits of your perseverance. An unexpected phone call or message from a woman will trigger events over the coming month that will make you think you’re on a wild goose chase. All will be revealed some time around the month of May. There could be some Greek and Indian influences for you during this time.
Try wearing red with white to clarify your purpose. White reflects all colors and combined with red will help illuminate your current path.
If you like Your Weekly ColorScope you are going to love my monthly color forecast too. My ColorScope is one of a kind and is updated monthly. Check back later for my first Video Color Forecast. If you missed the Leave it Cleaver Show you can download their podcasts.
